Making sure that we are a good fit is important to me as a therapist. Inviting someone into your life is a responsibility I handle with care and take serious. My training and life have prepared me to work with clients that are ready to make a change. I am a therapist and also a human being which is why my approach is authentic and straightforward with sprinkles of humor tossed in.
Having relocated back to Louisiana from Colorado, I am bringing the experience and knowledge I have attained from studying abroad, living in the Midwest, and growing up in the south to a community that is close to my heart. "It is important that I give back to a community that gave so much to me in my childhood."
As an Licensed Professional Counselor, I also hold a national certification as a Trauma Therapist in TFCBT and the only certified therapist in North Louisiana which took years of training and supervision. My experience has been with working with individuals that have experienced trauma and sexual abuse, as well as having collaborated with professionals on multidisciplinary teams.
