JASON MONTALBANO, LPC-S

My name is Jason Montalbano and I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2005.  I currently live in the Baton Rouge area and work with varying situations including grief, anger, anxiety, depression, relaxation, hypnosis, and some substance abuse issues.  I work mainly with adults, but also with teenagers as well.   

I love when a client comes in and has difficulty overcoming an obstacle to understanding and watching them light up at some point having an epiphany, therefore changing their life from that point out.  "AHA!" moments is what I enjoy the most as it creates a pathway to self improvement.  I enjoy watching someone overcome and move through trauma from their past and find themselves for the first time in a long time. 

I have been Vice President of the Louisiana Hypnotherapy Organization in the past for 2 years and love animals.  I am a very spiritual person and enjoy reading and painting in my spare time.  My dream is to travel around the world and learn another language.    My specialty is hypnotherapy/guided relaxation, anxiety, self esteem, substance abuse, and grief.
